Nathan Maxwell Cann

Nathan Maxwell Cann is a mixed media artist living in Fort Bragg. He uses driftwood, insects, bones, kelp, nails, paint, and paper ephemera to make dolls, sculptures, collages, and ceremonial rattles. His work is informed by the occult, dada, commedia dell’arte, children’s toys, art brut, as well as, the physical and psychological landscapes of Northern California. He owns a restaurant in Mendocino with his wife called the Fog Eater Cafe as well as the shop next door that sells natural wine, tinned fish, and some kites. He harvests kelp for Rising Tide Sea Vegetables in the Summer and he's learning how to fish

Anne Beck

Anne Beck is an interdisciplinary artist and landlooker working collaboratively & independently in a wide variety of media from paper, print & book making to public intervention & social practice. Anne is a core member of The Printmakers Left, an elusive international collective working together for over 20 years now on artist books, printed matter & installations. She is also half of the collaborative team behind The Rhinoceros Project exploring the communal & revolutionary power of sewing circles & hand papermaking. Recent sewing circles have been held at the Museum of Jurassic Technology in Los Angeles, CA, and the Museo Textil de Oaxaca in Oaxaca, Mexico.­

Megan Caron

Megan Caron is deeply connected to the community of Fort Bragg. Her children will be the 5th generation to call this town, home.

Her passion for the county is reflected in her vintage shop Lost Coast Found, where she specializes in regional art, craft and history. Additionally, Megan volunteers at the Larry Spring Museum overseeing its day-to-day operations.

As a social organizer she develops community-engaged activities for families including the Larry Spring Museum’s Festival For the Folks and Fort Bragg’s First Friday block parties.

Megan is fully invested in the revitalization of downtown Fort Bragg, and believes that this can only be accomplished through sustaining our town's unique history.
